CHILDREN AND YOUTH

St. Timothy's is a fun place for kids of all ages - from the littlest babies in our daycare center, right on up to the teen-aged years.

Varied activities are offered for young people of all ages. Young children come together for many different activities offered throughout the year such as a Halloween party, Christmas caroling, a whiffleball tournament, and other fun. Lutheran Youth Organization (LYO), is an organization for young people in grades 6 through 12. Activities include service projects, lock-ins, leading worship, and activities just for fun. Youth in grades 9 through 12 also have the opportunity to take week-long trips to various places. In the past, trips have included Washington D.C., Boston, Baltimore, and Wildwood, New Jersey. This year we're off to West Virginia!

Our church ministry has grown to include reaching out in love to the children of Grand Island, Niagara Falls, and Buffalo area communities with the ministry of St. Timothy Lutheran Child Care Center. We will soon be celebrating our 15 year anniversary! There are staff members that are still with us since we started so long ago. With over 20 committed and caring staff members and 60 children, God has blessed our child care center with the mission of providing a safe and loving place for children to blossom.
